About The Snake

My name is Bill. I have been catching snakes on the east coast
from Florida to Massachusetts. for over 40 years.
In the DC Metro area, I have caught almost every indigenous
species, including copperheads and timber rattlesnakes. The most common snakes in the DC Metro area,
(blacksnakes, garter, brown, and ring neck snakes) are
non-poisonous and harmless. The timber rattlesnakes are
usually located farther north and west in the mountains. Note: there are no water moccasins
in the DC Metro area).
